he Island Plaza Duty Free Shopping Mall in Georgetown has been a passenger favorite for years. Many folks consider it a wonderful “one stop” shopping destination. You can find all these stores at one location: Island Jewelers, De Sunglass Man, Churchill’s Cigars, Pandora Store and Swarovski Boutique. Island Companies itself was established in 1978, and are one of the largest duty free retailers on the island, with 11 stores in Grand Cayman selling a wide variety of merchandise and beautiful diamonds, designer jewelry, watch brands, designer sunglasses and Cuban Cigars. Many Passengers love to find their favorite Pandora charms and Swarovski favorites there. Of course, every week guys and gals ask me where they can buy great quality Cuban cigars, and I send them to Churchill’s. In addition to their popular location in downtown George Town, they also have wonderful stores at Camana Bay, the Owen Roberts International Airport departure lounge and their newest location at The Kimpton Seafire Resort and Spa.
