Many of my passengers love to fish! At Slackem Fishing Charters they get on a boat called “Keepin it Reel” and have the time of their lifes! The Cayman Islands waters are host to big game fish such as Blue Marlin, Swordfish (dusk/night fishing) Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi and Wahoo. Blue Marlin are normally found year round and they also catch a few White Marlin and see one or two Sailfish in the summer months. All Billfish are catch and release, they do try and get a good photo opportunity but sometimes that is not possible. They offer full and half day deep sea fishing trips and the hours are 4 and 8 hours. All of their trips are private charters as they do not offer shared deep sea fishing trips. Big Game Fishing seasons and available species vary from year to year and normally is as follows: Blue Marlin – Year Round, Yellowfin Tuna – November – June, Mahi Mahi – February – November, Wahoo – November – July.
