Next Door

Next Door really has two souls, two identities. The inside of the bar is like a dimly lit 1920s speakeasy: low-lit booths, Chesterfield sofas, and pocketed seating spots, partially inspired by Prohibition-era watering holes.  The outside terrace is bright with European lounge furniture brought in from Italy, where guests can enjoy our daily Aperitivo hour and a view of the water.  The menu is community-driven, inclusive, and very much representative of Cayman. Their signature cocktail menu utilizes herbal ingredients that have been traditionally used as healing elements in Caymanian Bush medicine for generations – from soursop to fevergrass, dandelion root, and more.  They work with local farmers and herbalists to learn and utilize the flora that is native to the island and to tell the story of its value in the community.  Sustainability is one of the pillars of Next Door.  Their wine selections have been carefully chosen to reflect this – all are certified either biodynamic, organic, or sustainable.  With elegant bar food to complement the bar’s drinks offerings, Next Door is designed to offer an experience from start to finish.  From an interactive, social drink delivery with their staff to a satisfying menu of shared plates, the bar will be ideal for those going to or coming from a date night at the movies or a company hosting a social with clients or their team members.  Next Door is open daily, serving cocktails, wine, gourmet small bites, and a little bit of NYC, London, and Sydney.  Come try something new.
