The Crystal Caves are situated in a lush tropical forest on the Northside of Grand Cayman, the island’s newest nature tourist attraction. Many families have enjoyed this amazing tour as one of the best ways to connect with the nature and beauty of the island. All visitors receive guided walking tours, lasting approximately 1½ hours, which include taking you through the surrounding tropical forest area and 3 spectacular caves. You will venture into amazing caves where you’ll see stalactite and stalagmite crystal structures and otherworldly formations, formed by single drops of water and the slow passage of time. Tour through the unique tropical forest nature, under which the caves formed. Amongst the forest and caves is captivating tropical plant and animal life, including strangler balsam trees, air plants, parrots, and bats… You have a couple options to enjoy visiting the caves: if you have a car you may drive there, or you can join Cayman Safari on an exploration of “Cayman Down Under”. If you go with Cayman Safari, then on the way, you will have an opportunity for photo stops and of course learn more about Cayman- it’s history, culture and heritage. Some of the sights you will see will include Smith Cove, Shoe Tree and the first capital, Bodden Town.
